The celebration originated in Mexico and has transcended other countries in Latin America. “Day of the Dead looks then like a reminder that some day we will all die\, but not today. Today we dance\, drink\, eat and celebrate the time we have left in this world with those we love. It is then that our everyday journey – whatever it is-\, takes a new meaning and inspires us to commitourselves to be better humans\, by those who left us a legacy of precious values and traditions\, and for the future generations that will remember us exactly the way we have lived.” – Diego M Bucio \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Register Online \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n Categories: \n Events \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n Tags: \n \n Event\n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Cultural Arts Center\n \n \n\n201 East Spring Street\n \n \n New Albany\,\n\n IN\n\n 47150\n\n United States\n\n\n\n\n + Google Map \n\n\n \n \n (812) 944-7336 \n \n\n\n \n \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n Add to calendar \n \n \n\n \n \n \n Google Calendar\n\n \n iCalendar\n\n \n Outlook 365\n\n \n Outlook Live\n\n \n \n\n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n Open Play Friday: Spooky Science Lab \n\n\n \n \n Barney Bright Sculptures in New Albany: A Walking Tour Appreciation URL:https://www.fcculturalartscenter.org/event/day-of-the-dead-ofrenda-unveiling-opening-reception/ LOCATION:Cultural Arts Center\, 201 East Spring Street\, New Albany\, IN\, 47150\, United States CATEGORIES:Events ATTACH;FMTTYPE=image/jpeg:https://www.fcculturalartscenter.org/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/2026_09_24_15_47_46-1.jpg END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
