The Floyd County Carnegie Library Cultural Arts Center is proud to announce our next exhibition, REDEMPTION featuring the works of artist Jaylin Monet’ Stewart. Jaylin is a nationally acclaimed visual artist, founder, and cultural storyteller whose work spans over 30 murals across the United States. Born and raised in West Louisville, Kentucky, Stewart is a self-taught artist whose practice explores identity, transformation, and healing through emotionally driven, narrative-rich work.
Speaking on her work, she says “REDEMPTION is my first solo exhibition—an immersive body of work that reflects the public spaces I have grown up in and fellowshipped within. I’ve taken these environments—ones not often seen inside of institutions or what some call “white-walled” spaces—and brought them into the gallery. This work is my childhood, my life, and the woman I am becoming.”
REDEMPTION will have an opening reception on Friday, May 22, 2026 from 5-8 PM, and this exhibition will be on display through October 17, 2026.
