Throughout the month of May join our Museum Educator Jessica Hartman at the Cultural Arts Center as we explore the power of words and personal storytelling in honoring those who served. At our “Letters Home” writing station, participants will reflect on the experiences of soldiers throughout history by composing their own letters inspired by real wartime correspondence. 

Write from the perspective of a historical figure or share a message of gratitude to service members past and present. This thoughtful, guided activity encourages connection, empathy, and remembrance, offering a meaningful way to engage with the spirit of Memorial Day.
